From academic excellence with Next Gen STEM and AVID, career-focused training in Medical Careers Pathway (MCP), and artistic innovation at Marin School of the Arts (MSA) to the competitive spirit of Athletics, our students thrive in and beyond the classroom.

AVID Website

Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) is an academic elective program that helps students to achieve the necessary requirements and skills to be eligible for university acceptance. AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

The mission of the Novato High School Medical Careers Pathways is to prepare students with the academic, social, and professional skills needed to be college and career ready in a medical field of their choosing. Students are introduced to numerous aspects of healthcare careers and topics.

Committed to individual and artistic exploration, Marin School of the Arts is an inclusive and supportive specialized arts program within Novato High School. We promote and respect self-expression, artistic risk taking, a wide range of ideas, and diversity in all its forms.
