Dear Hornet Families and Students,


As we head into the summer break, we are writing to share some bittersweet news and an exciting new chapter for our school leadership team.


First, we want to share that our wonderful Assistant Principal, Jahon Miles, will be stepping down from his role. He is leaving with love and gratitude for this community, and we are so thankful for the dedication, care, and energy he poured into our students and families during his time with us. Please join us in wishing him the absolute best in his next chapter.


With that transition, we are absolutely thrilled to officially welcome our new Assistant Principal, Ali McMorrow!


Many of you may already know Ali, as she is a Novato native with deep roots in our community. She brings a wealth of local experience to our team, having previously served as a teacher and an instructional coach at Loma Verde, before most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Hamilton. Ali is passionate about student success and is incredibly excited to bring her leadership and love for Novato schools to our campus.


We know she is going to be a fantastic addition to our leadership team, and we look forward to introducing her in person at our upcoming back-to-school events!


☀️ Summer Front Office Hours & Services

While our students, teachers, and admin are enjoying a well-deserved summer break, please remember that our main office remains open throughout the summer to assist you with any transcript or business needs.  We can also receive donations to our Upcycled Clothing and School Supply Drive.


If you need support with any of the following, we are here to help:

  • Official Transcripts: Processing for college applications, summer programs, or transfers.

  • Business Needs: Fee payments, registration updates, and enrollment paperwork.

  • General Inquiries: School hours or upcoming calendar events.

  • Donations:  Drop off gently used teen clothing, old NHS gear, or school supplies which we will distribute at our "Back to the Hive" event on Thursday, August 13th.
