NHS Senior Updates

Thank you to the senior families and students who attended the NHS Senior Awards Night last night. We are so proud of ALL of our seniors and appreciate the opportunity to recognize students with four years of participation in athletics, clubs, and specialized programs, strong academic performance and growth, and scholarship recipients. We handed out quite a lot of colorful cords to decorate our soon to be graduates as well as some generous scholarships. Our audience showered attending seniors with love.

There have been a number of repeat questions so we wanted to share the questions and answers with all our seniors so we all have the same information.

I missed the event or forgot to pick up a cord. What do I do? We are waiting on a few more cords in the mail and will distribute packets starting Monday, June 1 from the Attendance Office.

Take this survey! Our reports sometimes miss accomplishments you deserve. We'll go through responses, order the cords you deserve and fix it. So sorry about that!

Coming right up. . .

Prom is this weekend! 8pm - 11:30 at the SF Design Center Galleria We can't wait to see our seniors in their formal best! Please note there will be safeguards in place to ensure a safe and substance free event including bag and coat check, metal detector, and alcohol and substance use assessments. There is still room on the bus. Please remember that students who enter the prom need to stay until 11pm unless there is an emergency. Questions: Stephanie Searle [email protected]

Monday and Tuesday, June 1st and 2nd - Senior Yearbook Distribution - Seniors who have already purchased a yearbook can pick them up today before all underclassmen. Caps and Gowns - Where to Order: You can place your orders through the official Jostens Novato High Store. If your child needs to borrow a gown, they can see their counselor or go to window #5 for assistance.

Graduation Rehearsal: We practice twice: June 10th @ 9-11:00am and June 11th 8:30 - 10:30

Students must participate in both graduation rehearsals to walk in the ceremony. Seniors have assigned rows and seats and learn what to do to commemorate their big day. Talk to an administrator if you can’t be there for any reason. We will be meeting in the Gordon Gym at 9am on both the 10th and 11th.

Graduation: June 12th, @ 10:00 am

Be at the Gordon Gym by 9:00 that morning. Remember your cap, tassel and gown! You will check in by the Gordon Gym. Parking on that morning is very difficult, so carpool and get dropped off if possible.
