The Novato High PTSA is proud to award scholarships to qualifying graduating students who are current PTSA Members. Students must be registered PTSA members by the end of the 1st Semester. Application information is generally available by the end of January and information can be obtained in the College & Career Center. Information is also sent out our weekly e-news. Scholarship award recipients are announced at the Senior Awards Ceremony at the end of the school year.

PTSA Scholarship Application Class of 2014

As a part of your scholarship application, you will be giving a presentation to the PTSA Scholarship Committee on April 23rd from approximately 6-8pm depending on the number of applications. Time slots will be assigned.

The presentation should be under 3 minutes and should be in response to one of the following prompts:

  • What could change at NHS to create a more unified school community?
  • Discuss an experience (positive or negative) you have had at NHS that impacted your life in a meaningful way.
  • Is there a course or courses you feel should be offered at NHS? Why?

Important Dates:

Monday, March 24th:
Applications are due by 2:30pm. Please turn in to Mary Grillo in the College and Career Center.

April 7-18th:
Please be sure you check in with Ms. Grillo to sign up for a time slot for your presentation. It is your responsibility to sign up and to show up at the designated time.
