Ray Hausler
Ray HauslerBoys Cross Country Coach
About Coach Hausler: Ray Hausler is originally from Vacaville, CA and comes to Novato by way of southern Indiana. He graduated from Will C Wood High School in Vacaville and has degrees from Solano Community College and William Jessup University. Ray ran cross country and track all four years in high school and was part of a Monticello Empire League (MEL) championship team. He then started as an assistant cross country coach at Vacaville High School in 1995 before taking over that program in 1998. His teams won 7 MEL Championships between 1998-2006 and two Sac-Joaquin Section Division 2 Championships. He coached several state qualifying teams and individuals during that time. Ray also coached at Eastern Greene High School in Bloomfield, Indiana from 2011-2016. There, his teams won 4 county championships and qualified for regionals in 2016. He currently runs with his high school teammates as part of the SPP Running Team. Ray’s wife, Michelle Hausler, is a math teacher at Novato High. They have two children.
